in order to drive whatever will help dose the sand, i hacked 3 servos by destroying the feedback encoder, so the servos have no idea how far they have turned and keep turning…

well well. although i dont need to i am attending the digital media class for another semester, dealing with the topic “beauty of data”, interesting to me since it correlates with some rough ideas for my diploma work. this time i am working closely together with Tim Horntrich, so be prepared to read on two blogs to follow the work in progress.

Game Car: showoff at the traffic light

as kids we used to play happy families, competing with cars on cards, comparing horsepower and acceleration time.

when we grow up, its not about collecting four cards, but lots of people still compare their cars, envying each other or being satisfied because they have the bigger, better car. the classic situation is, of course, two cars waiting for the traffic light to light green.

lets make this competition an act of communication again:

every car has its own strengths and flaws stored on a chip, the driver can challenge the next car with one of his strengths. you win, you get one point, you lose, well. you lose.

the winner gets to carry a “trophy” to the next traffic light.
